Dogs do their business outside
"So I'm definitely a dog person, not that I do not like cats. I just personally am a dog person. I like to be active outside, go on a run, do everything, and I know that my dog is always down to go outside and play around or go on a walk or something. And I just don't like when an animal goes to do their business in a house. So they can go do their business outside, take care of it, and then they'll be good for the rest of the time."

Dogs are just so much better
"Ooh, I absolutely love this question. Dogs are so much better than cats because dogs can protect you, they're easy to train, and overall they're just, you know, a best friend to have. So dogs are so much better. So, no cats, just dogs."

Dogs are cuddly, cats are moody
"I'm so sorry to all the cat lovers out there, but I truly believe that dogs are better. They're - I love big animals and I have a dog, and I love to cuddle with my dog, and cats are really moody. Sorry, that might be an unpopular opinion, but..."

Me and cats share a lot in common.
"Now, my choice is probably pretty controversial to most people, but I'd lean towards cats, even though I do love dogs also. But that is just because I feel like my personality is very similar to a cat. They're very independent, but when they want attention, they'll come over and they'll get it. So, they can definitely be brats, but at the same time, they are really sweet because my cat, who knows when people are sad, she will go over and lay with them and cuddle you and just try to comfort you and make you feel better."

Man's best friend for the win
"Dogs versus cats, and why? For me personally, I like dogs more. But cats are more maintainable, you know, they take care of themselves. But if I had to pick one animal to have the rest of my life, it'd be a dog because they're the best. They give you unconditional love. Cats, sometimes they don't even give you any attention at all unless they're hungry, whereas dogs, they love you. They love you no matter what, and you can take them to the park. Can you take cats to the park? You can walk them? Can you walk cats? I mean, you can, but you would be like one out of 1,000 people who does that. So, dogs for the win, man's best friend."

I choose cats 100%
"Cats. 100% cats, all day, every day. No doubt in my mind. Cats are smarter, they're more loyal, and everyone's like, "Dogs are so loyal." They're loyal to everyone, and a friend to all is a friend to none. And cats know who they like, and they stick with that person. They're also super smart, like, if the world were to end tomorrow and people just disappeared, dogs would die. They wouldn't know how to take care of themselves. And cats, according to this documentary that I watched, would become top tree predators because they're smart and can use their resources and know how to take care of themselves. So cats, cats, cats. 100% cats."

I'm just more used to cats
"So if I had to choose between dogs and cats, first of all, it would- it would be cats pretty much all the time - even though, like, you know, all living things in equal and such, but, you know, I'm just kinda more used to cats, and I just love how, you know, friendly they are. And they just come up to you and cuddle you, you know. My mom has like five of them as pets, and, you know, I just love when they sit in my lap, and I can just pet their little cute head."

I like cats more, but I'd rather own a dog
"I- I like cats way, way more than dogs. You know, they're independent. I don't have to - I don't have to do too much to keep 'em going. But I'd rather own a dog. I'd rather - At the end of the day, I'd rather own a dog, which is why my- my dog is so perfect. A "cat-dog." Mm, mm, the best times. But yeah, yeah, cats all the way. But if I can have both, like a cat-dog, that's the choice obviously."

Well my mom made me a cat person
"Dogs v. cats: Who's the best and why? Super unpopular opinion - I'm going for cats, but that's because- that's my mum's fault. She refused to have a dog in the house, and we were never allowed to have a dog, so I had to become a cat person, only because I brang one home while she was away. And I don't hate dogs at all, but just I'm a cat person. And they're very low-maintenance, and I ain't got time for dogs, so I'm going with cats."

It's hard to pick, but cats are kinda scary
"This is such a hard question for me to answer because I love animals. Um, I guess I would have to say dogs because I've only ever had a dog as a pet, and I think dogs are so cuddly and, like, it feels so nice to have something that's like obsessed with you. But also I really love cats. I've just started obsessing over cats too. Um, I think I relate to cats a lot. I feel like their personalities are very human-like, and they don't really wanna be touched but also wanna be touched at the same time, and they're just really sassy and, I don't know. It's hard to pick. I feel like I'm both honestly, but probably more towards the dog side just because I've had a dog, so I understand them more. Like, honestly, I'm kinda scared of cats. They're kind of scary. They- they're so unpredictable. But dogs, they just wanna be pet and, like, they just wanna give you kisses."

Forget dogs and cats. Bunnies are the best
"I say neither dogs nor cats. In fact, I think bunnies are the best. Why? Because they're fluffy, and they're very obedient."

Cats don't provide much, so obviously dogs
"That's a super easy one. It's obviously dogs. Dogs are- they're known as a man's best friend. And cats - if we're gonna be honest, they're arrogant, they're lazy, they do - They provide not a whole lot, so I could happily do, yeah, without cats and stick with dogs."

Dogs are smarter and more loyal than cats
"Dogs versus cat: Who's the best? In my opinion, dogs are better than cats because they're just a lot smarter and a lot more loyal than cats. And basically, that's why I think dogs are better."

Dogs are man's best friend, but what do cats do?
"Dogs versus cats: Who's the best? Easily dogs. This is a hill that I'm willing to die on. So what do dogs do for you? They're man's best friend. They really are. They're always there for you. They care for you. But on the other hand, what does a cat do? Cat goes off and does its own thing. It's self-sufficient, but, you know, your dog is always there for you, and I think that's what matters. Like, if I'm gonna get a pet, I don't want something that's gonna go do its own thing all the time. I want something that's an integral part of my life, that I can really enjoy. And not to mention that, you know, if you ever owned a dog or a cat, um, or whatever it might be, the nicest thing that you can ever say about a cat is that a good cat is about as good as a bad dog. Cats just aren't that great. They really aren't. And any dog in the world is better than a cat. "
