"One skill that I wish I learned when I was young was theater and acting. It was one thing that I did a little bit as a kid, but I never really pursued it. I kind of stopped doing. It got shy and nervous and anxious , But I think it would have been really fun to continue doing that . Because I love seeing the theater . I love movies , TV , everything , so I think it would have been a fun thing to get into ."

"What I wish I'd learned when I was younger - especially at 16 - was that I'd learned to say no. And I also had a better memory because I ended up with 25 of my own children by 20 different men . And now 12 grandchildren, and I can't remember what Dad belongs to what child ? And I also can't remember anyone's names. I get them all muddled."

Get skilled in language and finance while you're young
"What's a skill that you wish you learned when you were young? Well for sure I think it would be cool to know a different language. I only know English. I tried to learn other languages and it's very difficult. So when I was young, I feel it would have been easier to learn a different language, especially a language that a lot of people speak. It is just so much better for jobs and opportunities. And second, another skill I think would be learning all about finances when I was younger: mortgages, stocks, finances like that would have been helpful."

Carpentry, so I could build stuff, man!
"Ooh. I like this one. Um, I'm gonna flat out say a carpenter. A carpentry trade will allow you to build anything... with wood, you know what I mean? Um, and being able to do that without having to pay somebody to do that is a skill that I wish I was a master at because I would never stop doing it. Yeah, carpentry for sure. Let's build stuff, man."

"Hmm. What is one skill I wish I had learned when I was young? Oh, I know this straight off the bat. I'm gonna say I would like to have learned another language. In particular, I'm gonna say some sort of, um, what is it, Mediterranean? 'Cuz when I'm at the nail shop, I definitely wanna know what they are talking about. Number one, it sounds so exciting, they're very loud and they're talking to each other while they're doing our nails and toes, and I want to be a part of that conversation. I want to know, what are you talking about? Are you talking about my nails? My feet? What is going on here? So, definitely learning another language."
