Being impolite is a bad omen
"What's a weird superstition? I have so many, but literally, just always saying "thank you," or always being nice, or smiling at people. I have like a thing; maybe it's a little paranoia, but I want to make sure that I leave a good note with people. I don't know if that's a superstition or what, but I just feel very uncomfortable if I leave a bad taste in someone's mouth because of what I did or said or didn't say. I'm all about that politeness."

Put good out, get good back.
"Okay, good question. So I'm of the belief - superstition that what goes around comes around, where if I'm being an absolute jerk, that the likelihood that people can that I come in contact with are gonna be just as much of a jerk as I am. And the flip side of that coin is is if I'm kind and caring, that that will be reverberated back around to me, and I I prefer the latter. Um, so that would be certainly 'what comes around goes around.' "

Bad luck starts with broken glass.
"For some reason, I really believe that if you break glass, you have bad luck for seven years. My youngest just broke a mirror and, well, he's [hoop] now."

Knock on wood for the good juju.
"My superstition is a pretty common one. I think everyone's heard about the 'knock on wood three times to get rid of the bad juju.' So if someone says something negative or is foreshadowing something bad to happen, I have to knock on wood three times in order to let all of that energy out and bring in the good vibes only."

Don't say it to make it happen.
"One weird superstition of me would be that whenever something is gonna happen or I know of something that can happen, um, if I think about it and don't say it, it will happen, but if I say it, then it won't happen."

Think safe to be safe.
"Uh, I don't know if it's like a superstition - I guess so - but a weird superstition of mine is, like, I can't think about, like, something happening. Like, if I think that somebody's gonna get in a car crash, they are gonna get in a car crash. Um, I know that sounds crazy, but it's, like, actually happened a few times. So I just, like, don't think about anything negative. When somebody leaves the house, I'm like, 'They're gonna get there safely and text me,' and I think about them being safe."

Cross my eye and hope for good luck.
"Okay, so a weird superstition of mine - I picked this up from my mother who picked it up from my grandmother. I don't know, but whenever our left eye is jumping, um, I've been told that that is bad luck. So we do a cross of 10 across the eye - one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten - yes, that - to wean off the bad luck. Go figure. I don't know."

We probably can read each other's minds.
"Okay, a weird superstition that I have is that people can tell what you're thinking even without you saying anything, um, but it obviously has to be with you two side by side. Or at least, if you're not physically right next to each other, then at least you have to be able to see their face and see their reaction to external factors. But I feel like we're able to read each other's minds at times."

Don't split the pole with me
"Hmm. I would say a weird superstition of mine - Well, growing up it used to be 'step on a crack, break your mom's back.' Now, I'm kinda scared of splitting the pole. It was never really like my superstition, but, you know, I think I let other people get in my head. So definitely if we're walking down the street, do not split the pole with me."

Believe it to attract it.
"Let me start off by saying in the world we live in today, I don't know what is real anymore. So, a superstitious-built person is a person who believes in something that is not real or possible. Now for me, in that sense, um, see, I find that interesting because I believe ghosts or everything, everything that has to do with superstition is real in a sense that has to do with the individual. See, if you believe it to be true, then then you attract that."

For even numbers, against the odds.
"So a weird superstition that I have is that everything has to be with even numbers or else, like, I get very anxious. I I really hate odd numbers. So, that's why."
